  ELMAR User Preferences

ARC: Community: ELMAR: Preferences

In this discussion, it is assumed you have already subscribed to ELMAR

In that case, on the ELMAR Web site,

http://ama-academics.communityzero.com/elmar,

you will see a series of links on the left hand navigational (nav) bar, including a link for "Login".  You need to Login to change your preferences.

Once logged in, you will see a link for "Preferences" on the left hand nav bar.  Key preferences include "Activity Updates" which controls the frequency with which you are alerted to new postings.

Note that when you change your preferences, you must uncheck the box for "Custom Profile" before clicking the button marked "Apply Changes".  This box is automatically checked due to a flaw in the system.

Another useful URL is the "Main" page found at

http://ama-academics.communityzero.com/

(Note that you can get to Main from the first URL, using the left hand nav bar.)  At the top of this page you will see a link allowing you to "Edit Profile".  Your profile contains a great many modifiable options including email address, user name, and other information that you may elect to conceal or reveal to other subscribers.  (At this moment all of this information is concealed, but list policy may change on that shortly).

You can also change your password from the Main menu.  The Main menu has a link for this.
