The Twist: In Microsoft’s “Bing It On” campaign, launched in early September 2012, the company asked users to compare search results from Google and Bing side-by-side in a blind test. Participants in the initial survey chose Bing’s Web search results nearly 2:1 over Google’s, Microsoft revealed.
