Summary

While millions of football fans are getting energized for next month’s Super Bowl in New Orleans, the game’s host committee has launched a campaign to raise awareness about energy conservation.

In December, the New Orleans Super Bowl host committee; the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions, an Arlington, Va.-based nonprofit organization; and Entergy Corp., a New Orleans-based
utility corporation, kicked off “Geaux Green,” a contest for NFL fans to compete for eco-friendly bragging rights and a trip to the Super Bowl.
