David Kinard is a 20-year marketing veteran who has worked with companies such as Microsoft, Merrill Lynch, Howard Johnson, Costco, Getty Images, Trendwest Resorts, and dozens of non-profit organizations including Seattle Pacific University and George Fox University. He is a sought-after expert on marketing strategy and customer communication issues and has been interviewed by publications such as Entrepreneur, The Seattle Times, the BBC, Advertising Age, the Wall Street Journal Online, and MSN bCentral.com. David has been recognized by Washington Governor Gary Locke's office for his contributions to the development of marketing skills standards for Washington State, and he holds the Professional Certified Marketer credential from the American Marketing Association in addition to a Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis on marketing. In his spare time, he teaches marketing to MBA students at two Seattle universities, goes to lots of movies, and enjoys the occasional video game.
