Refocusing on the Customer

Overview

Marketing Researchers Newsletter

COME TO THE CABARET…Boston, September 14-16, 2008

Experience the 2008 AMA Marketing Research Conference in Boston and you will have the stimulation of learning, networking with colleagues and enjoying the camaraderie of the research community.  This year’s theme, “Refocusing on the Consumer: What are people really thinking?”, will be examined by the top names in marketing and research. The recently designated Explor Award candidates will share their successful use of innovative research approaches.

Be prepared to be challenged by provocative thought leaders such as Dan Ariely, Ph.D, Behavioral Economist from MIT and Duke who will deep dive into what we can expect or reconsider with regard to consumer behavior (from his book: Predictably Irrational).

Gary Hirshberg, Chairman, President and CE-Yo, Stonyfield Farms will discuss how good corporate citizenship can lead to corporate success (from his book: Stirring It Up: How to Make Money and Save the World).  Other research leaders and pioneers will share their expertise and recent experiences to broaden the view of how effective research stokes the engines of corporate decision making.

Click onto www.marketingpower.com/research for more details. Attendees can bank on walking away with more than thoughts, in fact the means to make a positive difference in their organizations.

Finally, while the AMA provides the context for break-through thoughts and methodologies, the attendees will share their talents in the most intimate of settings… the newly constructed Research Talent on Parade Cabaret. On Tuesday night there will be a show where our friends in the research community can show us that “Researchers Got Talent”.  That might be you, or someone you know.  This will follow Monday’s amazing beer tasting event.  It doesn’t get much better than this… Good atmosphere, great speakers, inspiring discussion and fun for all.
