Summary

For the past five years, Blackbaud has conducted its State of the Nonprofit Industry Survey to provide an overview of information that can help nonprofits better benchmark their operations, based on historical trends and current developments. As in prior years, the 2008 State of the Nonprofit Survey focused on a series of timely issues critical to today’s nonprofits including general operations, fundraising, technology and Internet usage and accountability and stewardship.  Results of the 2008 survey revealed that the uncertain economy will likely have a significant impact on nonprofits’ key financial indicators and operations.
