The Northwestern Mutual Sales Competition is an ideal opportunity to compete one-on-one against other AMA marketing students and test your ability to close the sale - and win cash prizes!
The Sales Competition takes place on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the AMA International Collegiate Conference as a solo presentation between 9:00am – 1:00pm. Each competitor will present a prepared sales presentation (approximately 8 minutes) on a product of their choosing. Finalists will be chosen to compete in the final round of competition. Winners will be announced during the Awards dinner on Saturday night.

To reserve your space, you must submit a refundable $30 deposit via credit card.
* Note: If you do not show up for your confirmed presentation time, you will forfeit your $30 deposit, no exceptions.

In order to save your spot in the Sales Competition, participants must also be registered to attend the International Collegiate Conference no later than February 23, 2012.
- Participants should come prepared with a short sales presentation - develop materials, handouts and props that will help you close the deal.
- Review the Judging Criteria to make sure your presentation is on point.
- Each participant should bring with them a person to act as their "prospect" to present to.
You must be registered for the Conference before your slot will be confirmed. If you are not registered by February 23, 2012, you will forfeit your spot and it will be filled from the waitlist, no exceptions. You will receive a confirmation email with your presentation time 2 weeks prior to the Conference.
