News You Can Use
Welcome to the 2007-2008 Academic Year!
Officer Report Form
The 2007-2008 Officer Report form is available online at www.marketingpower.com/collegiate. Please remember if your chapter does not have an officer report form on file, you will not be eligible for your $75 discount coupon.
Summer Supply Shipments
The summer supply shipment will go out the 2nd week of August. This shipment includes a Collegiate Chapter Resources CD, brochures, applications, and other pertinent information. If you are a new advisor, please contact collegiate@ama.org to order your summer supply shipment.
Dues Increase
As of July 1, there will be a dues increase in international dues. As we all know, along with materials, supplies, and other items, expenses go up slightly each year. Student dues will be raised from $39 a year to $42 a year. This $3 raise is the first in over three years, and basically addresses increased costs. Other comparable national association dues run about $40-45 a years, so the AMA dues are pretty much in line with others. Please click here for a new collegiate application.
Annual Awards Competition

This same procedure must be followed for the submission of the Annual Report. One copy of the annual report must be mailed to the AMA Collegiate Division and the annual report must also be emailed to Teresa Bates at tbates@ama.org by March 7, 2008 8:00 a.m. CST.
