Our next Conference will take place April 3-5, 20008 at the Sheraton Hotel, New Orleans. Our case competition will feature McGraw-Hill as the sponsor. Information about this event and the competition will be posted as soon as available

Collegiate Connection Writers Wanted!
International Headquarters is looking for student writers to write for the Collegiate Connection. The Connection is published eight times a year, September-May, and we are looking for students to write about various topics. Topics include: the collegiate experience, personal benefits of AMA membership, chapter events, etc. If you are interested in being a student reporter for the Collegiate Connection, please send an email to collegiate@ama.org.
Dues Increase
As of July 1, there will be a dues increase in international dues. As we all know, along with materials, supplies, and other items, expenses go up slightly each year. Student dues will be raised from $39 a year to $42 a year. This $3 raise is the first in over three years, and basically addresses increased costs. Other comparable national association dues run about $40-45 a years, so the AMA dues are pretty much in line with others.
