AMA’s Collegiate Career Partners are a resource to AMA collegiate members. In addition to recruiting year-long for internships and jobs, these corporate partners are available to speak on campus or to individuals at the AMA International Collegiate Conference.
Soon-to-be-graduates want jobs, and there are a myriad of companies out there that are also in search of qualified, eager-to-work students. How can AMA connect these two groups?
One way is through the AMA's Collegiate Career Partner (CCP) program. Now in its third year, the CCP program brings together a coalition of companies that are heavy recruiters of students majoring in marketing, business and related areas. Jonathan Thornburg, College Relations Manager for Office Depot says, "Office Depot selected to partner with the AMA Collegiate Chapters because we look for candidate with excellent communications skills, ability to work well in a team environment, and a "can do" mindset. When we visit campuses nationwide we find these traits in the members of the AMA chapters."
Look for the CCPs to have a presence all year. CCP representatives may be available to speak on your campus upon request. They'll also be on the look-out for potential hires through-out the year and will accept resumes.
