The American Marketing Association –Collegiate Division is proud to announce a new competition. The Chapter Recruitment Video Competition is open to all Collegiate Chapters and is an excellent way to market the on-campus AMA experience.
Purpose
The purpose of this competition is to encourage AMA Chapters to design, develop and produce a recruitment video/DVD that could be used recruit new members. While chapters may want to include campus pride elements, the main objective of this competition is to produce a recruitment video/ DVD that is suitable for use on any campus in the country.
Eligibility
The 2008-2009 Recruitment Video Competition is open to all schools that have an affiliated undergraduate AMA Collegiate Chapter. Those contributing to the production of this video must be AMA members in good standing with current paid dues to the American Marketing Association.

Entries must be postmarked by February 28th, 2009 and must be mailed to: Naomi Walters, Director of Collegiate Chapters, American Marketing Association, 311 South Wacker Drive, Suite 5800, Chicago, IL 60606.
Ownership / Copyrights
Upon submission, participants will be asked to sign a release and transfer of ownership document. In addition, any creative element, such as music or published video clips, must be accompanied by a copyright release/permission form.
Length
The length of the video must be no less than two minutes and no more than five minutes.
Judging
Preliminary judging will be done by a team made up of chapter advisors. The five finalists will be judged at the International Collegiate Conference, March 26-29, 2009 by those collegiate members in attendance. Your video will be featured during the conference and your peers will determine the winner.
Content
The content is open to interpretation by each chapter but it must be in good taste and reflect the chapter’s value proposition. The video should answer the recruit’s question “Why should I join AMA?”
Submitted Material
Videos submitted for this competition will become the property of AMA and will not be returned.
