Amid the Chaos, will you listen or perish?

In media and marketing, everything we have always taken for granted is in a state of flux. While the sky may not yet be falling, revenues certainly are. The key to a building a successful new model is through connections and conversations. This October, the American Marketing Association in concert with Advertising Age columnist Bob Garfield is providing a free, fun and informative way for marketers to meet their educational and recruitment goals using a program called “30 Days of Chaos” based on the new book, The Chaos Scenario.

What exactly is The Chaos Scenario?  According to Ad Age’s Garfield, it is about the “historic re-ordering of media, marketing and commerce triggered by the revolution in digital technology.  It is about the cutting edge, which is sometimes a laser scalpel but, of course, also sometimes a guillotine. It is, in short, about crawling from the wreckage of the old order to establish a new one.” MORE...
