I have 23+ years of transcription experience, 7 of which were for the Gallup Organization, 10 transcribing a variety of items including textbooks and manuals, and since the fall of 2001, I have primarily worked with Dooctorate level students at various universities around the country, including universities in Nebraska, Kansas, Arizona, Massachusetts, Michigan, Wisconsin and Georgia. Most of the students have been from the Marketing Department but I have serviced a few students from the Education and Psychology Departments as well. I have the capability to transcribe digital audio files such as WAV, MP3, etc. which have either been copied onto CDs, posted on a website, or sent to me via email. I also transcribe standard sized cassettes and micro cassettes. Completed transcripts are sent to the client via email attachment, and CDs and/or tapes are returned via regular mail, unless I am requested to do otherwise. For the past three years, I have been doing transcription work for some professors in the colleges of business at several North Texas universities and some in other areas. Most of the time it is recordings of interviews they have held with business people, those who are doing projects in school, some personal transcriptions. I receive the tapes via U.S. Mail, UPS, or FedEX, and then I send the completed transcription via email attachment to the professor. I return the tapes via one of the above listed means. My colleagues, doctoral students and I have been using TSI Transcription services for years and have had nothing but great experiences.
