Many will remember Professor Thorelli through his numerous contributions to the field of international marketing through articles and books detailing advancements in global marketing strategy and network governance, country-of-origin, international product positioning, and policy issues, and for his passion in engaging international decision making in a hands on fashion through INTOPIA. More of note to many of those who were fortunate enough to share time with him will remember him for his sincerity, generous spirit and passion for life and learning. >

Professor Thorelli’s leadership in the field of international marketing is recognized within the Journal of International Marketing annually through the Hans B. Thorelli Award, which honors research having the most significant and long-term contribution to the field of international marketing.
