The Selection Committee for the 2010 IOSIG Lifetime Achievement Award (Sanjit Sengupta-Chair, Jakki Mohr, and Eugene Sivadas) has completed deliberations. Given the strong records of the top two nominees, the committee has decided to confer the award to Gary Frazier and George John. Gary Frazier is the Richard and Jarda Hurd Chair in Distribution Management and Professor of Marketing at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California. George John is the General Mills-Gerot Chair in Marketing and Chair of the Marketing Department at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota.

The committee received many outstanding nominations all of whom deserved the award. Many thanks go to the committee for all their work and to the IOSIG members for nominating outstanding scholars in the field.
