SIG Awards
The
American Marketing Association Innovation, Technology and Interactivity SIG
announces the Winners of its annual competition for best article published in
2010. This year there were two winning papers:
Choi, Jeonghye, Sam K. Hui, and David R. Bell (2010), "Spatiotemporal
Analysis of Imitation Behavior across New Buyers at an Online Grocery
Retailer," Journal of Marketing Research, 47 (1), 75-89.
and
Sinha, Rajiv, Fernando S. Machado, and Collin Sellman (2010), "Don’t Think
Twice, It’s All Right: Music Piracy and Pricing in a DRM-Free
Environment," Journal of Marketing, 74 (2), 40-54.
The runner up paper was
Goldenberg, Jacob, Barak Libai, and Eitan Muller (2010), "The Chilling
Effects of Network Externalities," International Journal of Research in
Marketing, 27 (1), 4-15.
TechSIG extends its congratulations to all of the above authors and to all of
those interested in Innovation, Technology and Interactivity, and the growing
role they play in marketing.
