The following sorts of posts will generally not go to the list:

  • Flames or ad hominem attacks
  • Resumes
  • Requests for email or postal addresses
  • Requests for practitioner contacts
  • Statistical or measurement questions more appropriately handled by SEMNET
  • Questions not of interest to a significant group of academic marketers
  • Requests for help with no previous efforts to solve the problem
