Graduate education is front and center for many of us. As educators, how do we get those MBA students to understand marketing, and how do we get our colleagues to understand that marketing is a key driver in the corporate world? The Teaching and Learning SIG special session at the Winter AMA focuses specifically upon the issues, trials, tribulations, methods, future, etc. of teaching those brand new MBA students. The AMA has given us a prime spot for this special session (day 1), and we’re hoping that all SIG conference attendees will be able to attend. While nothing definite yet, we are also hoping we can get a sponsor for a few drinks and socializing at a local bar (!).
We will post more about our SIG and the Winter AMA on our new website that we’re planning to launch within the next couple of weeks. Northeastern University has agreed to host the website and a URL has been secured. The familiar “Under Construction” is the mantra right now, but we’ll contact you as soon as we “go live.”
Looking forward to seeing you in Tampa,
Vicky, Peggy, & Rich
