Is there a possibility a company won’t hire me (even if I have a Masters Degree) just because they do not think the University I went to meets the “top-of-the-line” criteria?

Answer
If you have an MBA from Harvard or Stanford, Wharton or Sloan, or any Top 20 business school frankly, this will certainly set your resume apart from those of candidates who got an MBA someplace else. That being said, at best it will get you an interview; it will not get you hired. I don’t think that there are accredited schools whose reputation is so poor that it will count against you. If you have an MBA but it is not from a stellar school, you may have to work a little harder to get an interview by leveraging contacts or making a special effort to stand out to the folks doing the hiring, but you still have a chance.
