Is there a cheap way to train or a way I can train myself?

Question
I wanted to know how to get certified or trained in software applications most commonly used by marketing professionals without paying a hefty penny. Is there a way I can train myself?
 
Answer
This all depends on what applications you are talking about. If you are referring to the Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, then there are plenty of books and tutorials available which run from free to reasonably priced. If you are talking about email management systems, project management systems, marketing operations management systems, etc., these vary in terms of cost and complexity and, at the high end, it’s hard to get training without you or your company paying.
