Question: What education or training is available to move into marketing analytics?

AnswerThe best route is to check your local university, community college and marketing organizations.  Here in Seattle, the University of Washington offers extension classes for working professionals who want to either transition careers or strengthen their current skills.  Classes are held at night for a period of over 9 months and some classes can qualify toward a Masters Degree.

Online, the American Marketing Association offers a variety of resources as well:

Lastly, be sure to hop on LinkedIn or attend events at your local AMA chapter and ask around.  Word of mouth is the best and more than likely, there are many people who have either experienced the same interest in training or have completed training themselves and gave give you input of his/her experience with the program.
