Former Corporate VP of Brand, Advertising & Communications, Caesars Entertainment
Veronica recently joined SBE Corporation as Chief Marketing Officer, where she oversees all marketing strategy and execution across their award-winning hospitality collection of hotels, restaurants and nightlife.
During her tenure at Caesars Entertainment, Veronica Smiley led Brand Strategy, Partnerships and National Promotions for the largest casino entertainment company in the world. In this role, she drew on her background in Brand Management and innovation to lead the design and launch of the company’s largest promotional campaign in history this year. The promotion relaunched Total Rewards, the gaming industry’s most successful loyalty and analytics program, to a broader set of entertainment seekers comprised of both gamers and non-gamers.
Smiley originally joined the company in 2009 as a Director of Marketing to launch a new VIP service concept called Total Experiences. This innovative program offers a concierge-like service to help plan occasions such as weddings, golf trips, birthdays and bachelor parties.
Prior to joining Harrah’s in July of 2009, Ms. Smiley worked in the media industry with Integrity Multimedia, and spent the majority of her career in Brand Management with Procter & Gamble’s Beauty Division, leading the company’s largest haircolor brand. She has a B.S. in International Business and Finance from Georgetown University, and has completed Executive Education coursework at Harvard Business School.
