Rachel Hutchisson is the Director of Corporate Citizenship & Philanthropy at Blackbaud, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLKB), headquartered in Charleston, SC. She is responsible for the technology company’s global corporate citizenship efforts as well as programs that support the corporate brand. Previously, she ran corporate philanthropy and the marketing programs, ran the events business for the 2,200-person company, launched the firm’s public relations function, and served as project manager for strategic acquisitions.
Rachel is the Immediate Past President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Lowcounty Chapter and serves on the boards of directors of the American Marketing Association Foundation, the South Carolina Governor’s School for Science and Math, the South Carolina Association of Nonprofit Organizations and The Citadel School of Business Administration Advisory Board.
She is a graduate of Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, and received a master’s degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, Rachel is the recipient of the Charleston Regional Business Journal’s 2009 Influential Women in Business Rising Star Award.
