Karen K. Tracy is Senior Vice President, Communications at the American Pharmacists Association. Ms. Tracy is responsible for the communications strategy that advances the Association’s brand identity and its products and services. She oversees the development of print and electronic communications, including the annual report, marketing collateral materials and various websites. She oversees media interactions to help promote the Association and the pharmacy profession. Her business unit also encompasses membership, market research, creative services and the knowledge management center departments. During her tenure at APhA she has served as Vice President, Marketing and Vice President, Professional Education and Industry Relations.
Ms. Tracy earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and a minor in political science from University of Delaware. Prior to joining APhA she served as a Vice President at Trinity Communications and as a Vice President at Ted Thomas Associates (now VoxMedica), medical communications firms in Philadelphia, PA. She is active in many community organizations.
