Dr. Dawley is President of Insight Analysis, a consulting firm that specializes in the use of multivariate statistical analyses for marketing research applications. She has had extensive experience in quantitative research for consumer and industrial products and services, completing analysis for a range of marketing applications, including market segmentation, new product development, perceptual mapping, ad tracking, attitude and psychographic modeling, and promotion evaluation.
Dr. Dawley occasionally teaches courses in research methods, statistics, and consumer behavior in the McLaren School of Business at the University of San Francisco, the Marketing Department at San Francisco State University, and the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. She is also a frequent presenter on multivariate statistics at local and national American Marketing Association conferences.
Dr. Dawley received a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Illinois and a Diploma in Data Processing Technology from Albuquerque Technical-Vocational Institute. An active member of the American Marketing Association, she was a member of the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter from 1991- 1997, and was the Chapter President for 1995-1996. Dr. Dawley served on the Marketing Research Council of the American Marketing Association from 2000 - 2005, and was selected as Vice President for 2003-2004. She is also a member of the Western Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, and the American Statistical Association.
