Conference registration may not be shared by two or more individuals. Space is limited and on-site registration cannot be guaranteed. Cancellations received prior to January 17, 2012will receive a refund minus $50 cancellation fee. After January 17, 2012 a refund will be granted less a $100 cancellation fee. There will be no refunds issued on or after February 17, 2012. All requests for refunds must be submitted to the AMA in writing.

The AMA has negotiated special group rates for the Winter Educators’ Conference. You must make your hotel reservations by January 16th, 2012 and properly identify yourself to qualify for the special group rate.  After January 16th, the rooms will be released for sale to the general public, and all reservations will be accepted on a space available basis at the hotel's available rate - not at the group rate.

To confirm a reservation, a first night’s deposit of room and tax (US Funds via check, money order, valid VISA, Mastercard or American Express card) must be received with the reservation request.  Deposits are refundable if cancellation is made in writing 48 hours prior to arrival date.

Check in time is 4:00 p.m., and check out is at 11:00a.m.  Anyone arriving earlier than 4:00 p.m. will be checked in as soon as a room becomes available.  Guests checking in early or checking out late may be assessed a fee.  Upon check in, please verify your departure date.

Many accommodations have balconies overlooking the beach and Gulf, the meandering waterway or tropical courtyard areas. Newly remodeled rooms and suites are non-smoking and feature a wet bar area with refrigerator, separate stocked mini-bar, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and dishware.  Other room amenities include high speed internet, in room-movies, and conveniences like a hair dryer, lighted makeup mirror, iron/board, in room safe and daily newspaper. Suites offer a separate bedroom, kitchenette, and living area with sofa bed.

 Tradewinds Island Resorts are served by three airports, all within a 30-minute drive.  The resort is located 10 minutes off Interstate 275 (I-275), which feeds off of both northbound and southbound Interstate 75 (I-75) and east/west Interstate 4 (I-4) from the Orlando area.

For Airport purchase the service charge is $35.00 USD per ticket.  These ticketing service charges are subject to change and not guaranteed until tickets are purchased.  There is no fee for booking online.

Taxicabs
