Conference registration may not be shared by two or more individuals. Space is limited and on-site registration cannot be guaranteed. Cancellations received prior to January 15, 2013 will receive a refund minus $50 cancellation fee. After January 15, 2013 a refund will be granted less a $100 cancellation fee. There will be no refunds issued on or after February 15, 2013. All requests for refunds must be submitted to the AMA in writing to mweingarden@ama.org.

New for #AMAWinterEd '13 are the "Index Card" Sessions. This year conference participants, may post a 4" x 6" index card listing an abstract (from conference kick-off on Friday until Saturday at 4 p.m.). All participants will have the chance to vote on their top 4 choices, voting closes at 5 p.m.. Four abstracts per session will be selected and announced by Saturday at 6 p.m. "Index Card" Sessions will be presented on Sunday.

The AMA has negotiated special group rates for the Winter Marketing Educators’ Conference. You must make your hotel reservations by January 16, 2013 and properly identify yourself (AMA Winter Marketing Educators’ - group code SCWME3) to qualify for the special group rate. After January 16, 2013, the rooms will be released for sale to the general public, and all reservations will be accepted on a space available basis at the hotel's available rate - not at the group rate. Reservations must be guaranteed with a deposit for the first night’s room & tax charge. If a reservation is guaranteed to a credit card, a first night’s room & tax charge will be billed immediately to the cardholder’s account. The Hotel allows cancellations without penalty up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival. In the event that a guest fails to check-in for a guaranteed reservation or cancels after the deadline, the Hotel will charge one night’s room and tax and the balance of the reservation will be cancelled.

A credit card hold or cash deposit in the amount of $200.00 is required for incidental charges.

Check in time is 4:00 p.m., and check out is at 11:00 a.m. Anyone arriving earlier than 4:00 p.m. will be checked in as soon as a room(s) becomes available. Upon check in, guests will be asked to verify their departure date. At that time, scheduled departure dates may be altered.

Conference attire is business casual. Meeting rooms tend to be cool so you may wish to bring a sweater/jacket.

Transportation
There are several commercial shuttles available upon your arrival at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport. The shuttles are located just outside of the baggage claim area. The average cost is $7.00-$8.00 per person one way. Shuttle reservations are not needed for trips from the airport to the hotels, however, you will need to schedule a reservation for your return trip to the airport. Shuttle fares are subject to change without notice.

Taxis are also available outside of the baggage claim area at McCarran Airport. Airport personnel are available on the taxi curb to assist passengers. Taxis are approximately $20.00 one way to and from the airport, depending on time of day and traffic.

Parking at the Hotel
