Swissôtel Chicago is an all glass triangular hotel, situated in the confluence of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan.  The hotel has fabulous wrap around views from Navy Pier to Millennium Park and is close to many Chicago attractions.  Here, you are at the center of diverse activities and major shopping districts such as The Magnificent Mile and State Street.

Swissôtel Chicago offers 661 tastefully decorated and generously over-sized rooms and suites, designed by noted Chicago architect, Harry Weese. Each one of the hotel guest rooms features many amenities to make your stay comfortable, including a large desk, multi-line phones with voicemail, and remote message retrieval.

Rates: $195.00 Single/Double occupancy per night (plus applicable taxes, currently 15.4%, subject to change without notice)
Rates are available three days prior and post of the meeting dates, based on availability.

The reservation cut-off date is Friday, September 10, 2010.
The AMA has negotiated special group rates for the American Marketing Association. You must make your hotel reservations by September 10, 2010 and properly identify yourself to qualify for the special group rate. After September 10, 2010, the rooms will be released for sale to the general public, and all reservations will be accepted on a space available basis at the hotel's available rate - not at the group rate. All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit, guaranteed with a major credit card.  Any reservation canceled within (72) hours of the arrival date will be charged for on (1) night’s room and tax.

Check in time is 3:00 p.m., and check out is at 12:00 p.m. Anyone arriving earlier than 3:00 p.m. will be checked in as soon as a room(s) becomes available. Guests checking out early will be assessed an early departure fee of (1) one night’s room & tax. Upon check in, guests will be asked to verify their departure date. At that time, scheduled departure dates may be altered.

For reservations and ticketing information via phone, call AmericanAirlines Meeting Services Desk, or have your travel professional call 1-800-433-1790 from anywhere in the United States or Canada, seven days a week, from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight (Central Time), and reference the authorization number shown above.  Reservations for the hearing and speech impaired are also available at 1-800-543-1586.  There is a $20.00USD reservations service fee for tickets issued through AA reservations, and a $30.00USD ticketing fee for tickets issued at the airport.

From O'Hare International Airport:
Take Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94) East to Ohio St exit. Proceed on Ohio to State St and turn right. Turn left at Wacker Drive. Hotel will be approx. 3 blocks on the right.

From Midway Airport:
Take Cicero Ave North to Stevenson Expressway (I-55) North. Exit at Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90/94) West. Exit at Washington St and proceed East to Michigan Ave. Turn left. Proceed North to Wacker Drive. Turn right. Hotel is 2 blocks on right.

FROM O'HARE AIRPORT: (18 miles)
Shuttle service is available through GO Airport Express. Reservations are not required. Shuttle vans depart O’Hare Airport every 10-15 minutes. GO Airport Express ticket counters and loading zones for boarding the GO Airport Express van are at Door 1E, Door 2D, and Door 3F across from baggage claim on the Baggage Claim level.
