The Award was established in 1999 to award exemplary performance and leadership in online research, and to highlight innovative applications in online research. The award scope expanded in 2005, with EXPLOR now highlighting the most innovative uses of technology in applications that advance research, online or otherwise. We invite all researchers, technologists, and academics to prepare submissions highlighting client-specific case studies that utilize technology in an innovative fashion.
All Research, Client and Academic organizations that conduct research are eligible to submit an entry. Award entries may be submitted by either research companies or client organizations, as long as they highlight a client-specific research application and are presented by the client. Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges comprised of experts in the field of research. Judges will consider a broad range of applications spanning the entire research process, including innovative research design approaches, data collection methods, and information delivery solutions. Evaluation criteria will be Organizational Relevance, Technical Execution, Creativity, and Innovation. The judging process involves review of this submission form plus any submitted supporting materials (e.g., PowerPoint presentations, CD ROM or URL demonstrations, etc.).
Submissions for the 2008 Explor Award are closed. 2009 Submissions will be open in February 2009.
