The ART Forum (Advanced Research Techniques) is a unique conference that provides an opportunity for academics, practitioners, and research clients to exchange ideas and solutions.  Since its inception in 1990, the conference has focused on the use of sophisticated methodologies and quantitative techniques in support of strategic and tactical marketing decisions. 

The ART Forum includes presentation and poster sessions where participants share their research in a format that encourages an open discussion for participants and presenters

Who Should Attend:

  • Research practitioners who use advanced methods in their job
  • Academics who use/study advanced methods in their research and teachings

Dear Attendee:
 
The ongoing mission of the ART Forum is to create and maintain a strong link between technical excellence and methods that are actionable in business practice.  Since its inception in 1990, the A/R/T Forum has brought together leading researchers from academia and industry to exchange ideas, discuss new methods and review standard practices.
 
This is the 20th Anniversary of the conference and it continues to offer a balance of academician and practitioner presentations.  In recognition of this milestone, the Program Committee not only chose papers that offer improvements and extensions of methods featured in past conferences,  but also advanced methods applied to areas of emerging interest to practitioners and academics in marketing.  These include sophisticated approaches to data collection and integrity, social networks, and dynamic models.
 
Finally, we offer a number of activities designed for first-time and newer A/R/T Forum attendees, including an overview of the conference and its content, assisted professional networking, and a tutorial designed to introduce the attendee to the advanced research methods presented in the program.
 
We hope that you will join us for an exciting and informative 2009 A/R/T Forum.
